Maji Bora’s Impact: 600 Boreholes and a Brighter Future for Kenya

We at Griot Ltd were halfway through our major programme to provide hashtag#water to isolated rural communities in two counties in hashtag#Kenya.

Working alongside County Government of Turkana in the north west and County Government of Kilifi on the coast our project hashtag#MajiBora targeted the rehabilitation of 600 water hashtag#boreholes – providing safe, clean drinking water to hundreds of thousands living in hashtag#waterpoverty.

We’ve come a long way since this halfway mark, thanks to the powerful partnership with Carlton Power Limited, represented in this film by the appearance of Simon Watson.

The hashtag#carboncredits from the full programme should be available for sale later this year, which will enable us to extend the reach of programming still further.
