Restoring Coastal Blue Carbon Ecosystems for Climate Mitigation
Project Description
Our project aims to restore and conserve coastal blue carbon ecosystems, specifically mangroves, salt marshes, and seagrasses, as a nature-based solution for climate change mitigation. Blue carbon ecosystems are highly efficient carbon sinks, sequestering large amounts of atmospheric carbon dioxide and storing it in the biomass and sediments of these coastal habitats.
