Following on from the Kenyan Government’s audit of our work in the coastal region, the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) team travelled Northwest, to the semi arid county of Turkana. Once again the overall assessment of Griot’s water intervention was very positive – the only real feedback is the need to do MORE for these communities, by providing access to water for irrigation and wide spread of solar to power the 300 hand pumps we have restored in the county. We stand ready to do what we can.
